Cecilia Roth (Buenos Aires, 1956) is an internationally acclaimed Argentine actress, celebrated for her intense film career.

She is considered one of Pedro Almodóvar's "muses," with whom she has made some of his most iconic works. Her performance in "All About My Mother" (1999) stands out, for which she won the Goya Award for Best Actress, along with a cameo in "Pain and Glory" (2019).

Outside of her collaboration with Almodóvar, she has shone in Argentine productions such as Adolfo Aristarain's "Martín (Hache)" (1997), which earned her a second Goya, and "A Place in the World" (1992).

Her acting style is characterized by the portrayal of complex, intense women, often vulnerable but resilient, capable of facing pain and motherhood in profound ways.
