Dean R. Brooks

Dean R. Brooks was not an actor, but a psychiatrist and health administrator. He is primarily known for his role as the director of the Oregon State Hospital, the institution that served as inspiration and setting for Ken Kesey's novel *One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest* and the subsequent film.

Brooks consulted with Kesey and contributed to the understanding of the psychiatric environment, but he never acted in film or television productions. Therefore, he does not have a film career as an actor nor a filmography to present in that capacity.
