Dennis Price (1915-1973) was a British actor, known for his distinctive cinematic presence. His most celebrated performance is undoubtedly that of Louis Mazzini in *Kind Hearts and Coronets* (1949) from the renowned Ealing Studios, where he masterfully interacted with Alec Guinness, who played no fewer than eight members of the D'Ascoyne family.

Price excelled in roles as sophisticated characters, often aristocratic or upper-class, possessing an elegance that was both charming and at times ambiguous or malevolent. His career was studded with roles in post-war British comedies and dramas, in which his impeccable diction and refined bearing made him an iconic figure of mid-century English cinema.
