**Emilio Echevarría** (born in Mexico City) is a Mexican actor known for his intense screen presence and distinctive character roles in international cinema.

He gained international recognition with his unforgettable portrayal of "El Chivo," a redeemed former hitman, in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's *Amores Perros* (2000).
