Florinda Bolkan (born Florinda Soares Bulcão, 1941) is a Brazilian-Italian actress, an icon of Italian cinema from the late 1960s to the 1970s.

Known for her enigmatic beauty and intense screen presence, she excelled in complex and often mysterious roles. She portrayed memorable characters in both art-house and genre films. Among her most celebrated collaborations are Luchino Visconti for *The Damned* (1969), Elio Petri in *Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion* (1970), and Dario Argento in the seminal giallo film, *The Bird with the Crystal Plumage* (1970).

She embodied sophisticated female figures, at times fragile, at times ambiguous, but always possessing great inner strength, becoming a distinctive face of the cinema of that era.
