**Francine Racette** (Montreal, 1947) is a Canadian actress known for her significant career in French cinema. Muse and wife of renowned director Louis Malle, she starred in many of his most acclaimed films, including the dramas *Lacombe Lucien* (1974), *Black Moon* (1975), and the award-winning *Au revoir les enfants* (1987), where she portrays Julien's mother.
She also worked with other prominent directors such as Jeanne Moreau (*Lumière*, 1976) and Roger Vadim (*Une femme fidèle*, 1976).
