
Frank Vincent
Frank Vincent (1937-2017) was an American actor, renowned for his intense portrayals of characters associated with organized crime.
He gained fame through his numerous collaborations with director Martin Scorsese. Among his most iconic film roles are those in *Goodfellas* (1990), where he played the fearsome mob boss Billy Batts, and in *Casino* (1995) as Frank Marino, both characters meeting a violent end at the hands of hitmen. He had previously worked with Scorsese in *Raging Bull* (1980), marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership.
Vincent excelled at portraying authoritarian, intimidating, and distinctly masculine figures, becoming a recurring face for roles as gangsters, mafia bosses, or powerful figures within the criminal underworld.
