Gavin Gordon (1891-1983) was an American actor, primarily active between the 1930s and early 1940s.
Known for his elegant bearing and distinctive voice, Gordon often portrayed aristocratic figures, military officers, or refined antagonists. His film career was replete with supporting roles in notable productions.
His most significant appearances include the role of Dr. Roderick Spencer in *The Bat Whispers* (1930), considered a precursor to Batman films, and that of Grand Duke Peter in Josef von Sternberg's *The Scarlet Empress* (1934), alongside Marlene Dietrich. He also appeared in films such as *A Tale of Two Cities* (1935) and *The Charge of the Light Brigade* (1936).
