Geneviève Page (1927-2020) was a French actress with a long and distinguished film career, characterized by an innate elegance and a refined stage presence.
Known for her ability to portray sophisticated, often enigmatic, aristocratic, or powerful women, she was able to lend depth even to supporting roles. Her most notable films include the historical epic *El Cid* (1961), where she portrayed Princess Urraca; *Grand Prix* (1966); and her memorable appearance in Luis Buñuel's *Belle de Jour* (1967) as Madame Anais. She also left her mark in *The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes* (1970).
