Graham Chapman

**Graham Chapman (1941-1989)** was a British actor, comedian, and writer, best known as a founding member of the comedy troupe Monty Python.

His film career is inextricably linked to the group's films. He played iconic roles: he was the epic **King Arthur** in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975) and the unforgettable **Brian** in "Life of Brian" (1979), his best-known role. He also appeared in "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life" (1983).

His style was characterized by a composed presence and an often serious expression, even when delivering the most absurd lines. He often portrayed authority figures, such as kings or colonels, or central characters who served as a pivot in the surrounding madness, embodying the "straight man" protagonist amidst the surreal chaos of the Pythons.
