**Harold Goodwin** (London, October 22, 1923 – London, February 19, 2004) was a British actor, known for his prolific career as a character actor in film and television.

Recognizable for his ordinary appearance and measured acting style, Goodwin often played the "common man": soldiers, factory workers, clerks, or humble but dependable characters. His extensive filmography includes numerous supporting roles in British and international productions.

Among his most memorable performances are those of Lieutenant Gray in *The Bridge on the River Kwai* (1957) and Private Pike in *The Longest Day* (1962), both epic war films. He also appeared in famous Ealing comedies such as *The Ladykillers* (1955) and many other dramas and war films, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and ubiquitous performer in British cinema for over fifty years.
