Harry Gribbon (1885-1961) was an American comedic actor, a prominent figure of silent cinema. His career was inextricably linked to the comedies produced by Mack Sennett for Keystone Studios, where he became a familiar face. Recognizable by his distinctive mustache and robust build, Gribbon specialized in roles that utilized physical comedy and slapstick humor.

He often played gruff but good-natured characters, bumbling policemen, or awkward authority figures, becoming a staple of the era's most frantic gags.
