Iya Borisovna Ninidze (born in 1960) is a Georgian actress who became one of the most recognizable figures of Soviet cinema. She rose to prominence at a very young age with the musical *Melodies of Vera Quarter* (Vera Kvartalis melodiebi, 1973), where she captivated audiences with her singing talent and grace.

Her elegant charm and magnetic presence often led her to portray strong, romantic, or emotionally impactful female characters. Particularly memorable was her portrayal of Dulcinea in the renowned Soviet television series *The Life and Amazing Adventures of Don Quixote* (Zhizn' i udivitel'nye priklyucheniya Don Kikhota, 1980). Other significant works include *Nevestka* (1981) and *Istoriya odnogo Argonawta* (1987).
