**Ildikó Bánsági** (born in Budapest in 1947) is a prominent Hungarian actress, known for her prolific film and theatre career. She achieved international fame through her collaboration with director István Szabó, appearing in some of his most celebrated films.
Among these are the Oscar-nominated *Mephisto* (1981, winner for Best Foreign Language Film), *Colonel Redl* (1985), and *Hanussen* (1988). Other significant roles include that in Péter Gothár's cult film *Megáll az idő* (Time Stands Still, 1982).
