Joe Keaton
**Buster Keaton (born Joseph Frank Keaton)** was one of the greatest stars of silent cinema, famously known as 'the Great Stone Face'. His style was characterized by brilliant physical comedy, spectacular stunts, and elaborate gags, performed with a stoic impassivity.
He often portrayed stoic, determined, and imperturbable characters who faced incredible obstacles with ingenuity and resilience. Among his most important films are masterpieces such as *The General* (1926), often considered his magnum opus, *Sherlock Jr.* (1924) for its narrative innovations, and *Steamboat Bill, Jr.* (1928), renowned for its iconic falling facade scene.
Keaton not only acted but also directed and conceived a large part of his films, leaving an indelible mark on the history of cinematic comedy.
