John Forsythe

John Forsythe (1918-2010) was an American actor with a long and versatile career. He is often remembered for roles as charming, sophisticated, and authoritative men, possessing great aplomb and a distinctive voice.

His film career includes significant collaborations with Alfred Hitchcock: he starred in the black comedy *The Trouble with Harry* (1955), where he played a mild-mannered artist, and the gripping spy thriller *Topaz* (1969), in the role of a CIA agent. He also demonstrated his versatility in dramatic films such as *In Cold Blood* (1967), playing a journalist, and *...And Justice for All* (1979).

Although his fame grew exponentially with iconic television roles such as Blake Carrington in *Dynasty* and the voice of Charlie in *Charlie's Angels*, his imprint in cinema, defined by elegance and discreet charisma, remains significant.
