Kari Sylwan (born in 1940) is a Swedish actress and dancer, primarily known for her collaboration with director Ingmar Bergman.

Her most iconic role is that of Agnes in *Cries and Whispers* (1972), where she masterfully portrays a woman dying of cancer, expressing physical pain and vulnerability with intense physicality, a result of her dance training. She also participated in *The Magic Flute* (1975) and *Face to Face* (1976), both under Bergman's direction.

Sylwan is often associated with complex and internally tormented characters, capable of communicating emotional depth even through bodily expression. Although her filmography is limited, her impact in auteur cinema, particularly with Bergman, remains significant.
