**Kim Young-min** (born in 1971) is a South Korean actor and a recognizable figure in Korean arthouse cinema, known for his nuanced and often introspective performances. He gained international attention with his role in Kim Ki-duk's acclaimed film *Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring* (2003), in which he plays the young monk.

His career is closely linked to director Hong Sang-soo, becoming one of his favorite actors. He has starred in numerous Hong films, including *The Day He Arrives* (2011) and *Yourself and Yours* (2016).

He often plays complex, intellectual characters, sometimes fragile or morally ambiguous, with a measured performance that favors emotional subtlety.
