**Leila Hatami** (born in 1972) is a prominent Iranian actress, known for her measured and intense performances. The daughter of acclaimed director Ali Hatami, she debuted young, but her career gained momentum with films such as Dariush Mehrjui's *Leila* (1996), where she demonstrated a remarkable ability to tackle complex roles.
She achieved international fame with her acclaimed performance in Asghar Farhadi's *A Separation* (2011), which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. For this role, Hatami won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival.
