Michael Beck
Michael Beck (1949) is an American actor primarily known for his iconic role as Swan in Walter Hill's cult film *The Warriors* (1979). In this film, Beck portrayed the stoic and charismatic gang leader, a role that brought him recognition but also, to some extent, defined his career.
Subsequently, he starred in *Xanadu* (1980) alongside Olivia Newton-John, a musical that, although it did not replicate critical success, remains one of his most well-known works. Beck often portrayed young, determined characters, sometimes with an aura of mystery or a sense of inner unease. His main film career was concentrated between the late 1970s and early 1980s, with subsequent appearances in television and as a voice actor.
