Michael Berryman
Michael Berryman (Los Angeles, 1948) is an American actor renowned for his distinctive appearance, which is due to a rare genetic condition, hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
His film career is intrinsically linked to roles as unsettling, monstrous, or menacing characters. His significant debut was in *One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest* (1975). However, he became a horror icon thanks to his role as the cannibal Pluto in Wes Craven's cult film *The Hills Have Eyes* (1977).
Berryman continued to portray memorable figures in films such as *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home* (1986), *Weird Science* (1985), and, more recently, Rob Zombie's *The Devil's Rejects* (2005). His stage presence, combined with his unique physique, has made him a recognizable and beloved face in the horror and cult genre.
