Nicoletta Braschi (Cesena, 19 April 1960) is an Italian actress, primarily known for her numerous film collaborations with her husband, director and actor Roberto Benigni.

The role that brought her the greatest international fame is that of Dora in *Life Is Beautiful* (1997), a film that won three Academy Awards, where she plays the protagonist's wife. Among their other successful films are *Johnny Stecchino* (1991) and *The Monster* (1994), where she often embodies the elegant, strong, and clear-headed female character, often in contrast to Benigni's eccentric comedy.

Her filmography also includes collaborations with international directors such as Jim Jarmusch in *Mystery Train* (1989), demonstrating a versatility that allows her to range from dramatic to more ironic roles, always with a distinctive grace and an intense stage presence.
