**Paul Koslo (1944-2019)** was a Canadian actor, a well-known character actor specializing in portraying unsettling, sociopathic, rebellious, or outlaw characters. His film career flourished in the 1970s, as he appeared in numerous cult films.
Among his most memorable performances were the hippie leader of the "brothers" in *Vanishing Point* (1971), the mutant in *The Omega Man* (1971), and the antagonist Frank Jackson in *Joe Kidd* (1972) opposite Clint Eastwood. His style was characterized by an almost feverish intensity, which made him perfect for ambiguous or overtly villainous figures. He also appeared in *Mr. Majestyk* (1974), *The Drowning Pool* (1975), and *Heaven's Gate* (1980), solidifying his reputation as a recognizable face for often minor but impactful roles.
