Payman Maadi is an internationally acclaimed Iranian actor, primarily known for his intense performances.

His most celebrated role is that of Nader in *A Separation* (2011), an Academy Award-winning film, where he masterfully conveyed the complexity of an ordinary man facing moral dilemmas. He has collaborated multiple times with director Asghar Farhadi, including in *About Elly* (2009).

Maadi has extended his career to international productions, appearing in American films such as *Camp X-Ray* (2014) alongside Kristen Stewart and *13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi* (2016).
