Robert Arthur
**Robert Arthur (1925-2008)** was an American actor, active primarily in cinema between the 1940s and 1960s. Known for portraying honest young men, often naive or idealistic, he distinguished himself in war films and teen dramas, frequently embodying the "boy next door."
His most memorable roles include the pilot in *Twelve O'Clock High* (1949), an acclaimed war drama starring Gregory Peck, and the soldier in Samuel Fuller's *Fixed Bayonets!* (1951). He also had significant parts in *The System* (1953) and *Hellcats of the Navy* (1957), alongside Ronald Reagan.
