**Salvatore Cascio** (Palazzo Adriano, 1979) is an Italian actor, primarily known for his early and memorable cinematic performance.

He is renowned for the role of child Totò in Giuseppe Tornatore's multi-award-winning film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" (1988). His performance, characterized by disarming naturalness and great expressiveness, earned him the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor, establishing him internationally.
