Sean Garrison

Sean Garrison is an American actor known primarily for his film career in the 1960s. He established himself in horror and exploitation cinema, often associated with the works of director Herschell Gordon Lewis. His most iconic role is that of Pete Thornton in *Blood Feast* (1963), widely considered the progenitor of the "gore" or splatter genre.

He also starred in other Lewis films such as *Two Thousand Maniacs!* (1964) and *Color Me Blood Red* (1965). Garrison was often cast as the male lead, the young hero, or the "boy next door," serving as a more or less normal point of reference in the bizarre and ultraviolent plots of these films. His presence helped define the aesthetic of that particular cinematic subgenre.
