**Stefania Casini** (Malerba, 1948) is an Italian actress and director, famous for her intense film career, particularly in the 1970s. She has played complex and often disturbing roles, navigating with ease between arthouse dramas and cult genre films.
Among her most significant collaborations are those with Dario Argento for the horror masterpiece *Suspiria* (1977), where she plays Sara, and with Paul Morrissey for Andy Warhol's productions *Blood for Dracula* (1974) and *Andy Warhol's Frankenstein* (1973).
She also starred in important films such as Bernardo Bertolucci's *Novecento* (1976) and Marco Ferreri's *L'ultima donna* (1976), and collaborated with Rainer Werner Fassbinder.
