
Tony Leung Chiu Wai
Tony Leung Chiu-wai (born in 1962) is an internationally acclaimed Hong Kong actor. Known for his versatility and the intensity of his performances, he is considered one of the most influential Asian actors.
His career is closely linked to director Wong Kar-wai, with whom he made masterpieces such as "In the Mood for Love" (which earned him the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival), "Chungking Express", "Happy Together", and "2046".
Other iconic roles include the undercover cop in "Infernal Affairs", the controversial secret agent in Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution", and the mysterious hero in Zhang Yimou's "Hero".
