Yalitza Aparicio Martínez (Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, 1993) is a Mexican actress of Mixtec and Triqui descent, who rose to international prominence with her film debut.

Her career took off in 2018 thanks to her role as Cleo in Alfonso Cuarón's "Roma," where she portrayed a domestic worker inspired by the director's childhood nanny. Her critically acclaimed performance, noted for its authenticity and emotional depth, earned her a historic Oscar nomination for Best Actress, despite having no prior acting experience.

Aparicio is distinguished by her naturalistic acting style and her ability to embody complex characters, often women from humble backgrounds or indigenous communities.
