Anthony Harvey (1930-2017) was a British director known for his character- and dialogue-driven works. Following a career as an editor, he achieved prominence with *The Lion in Winter* (1968). This historical drama, starring Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn, earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Director and numerous accolades, solidifying his reputation.
Among his other significant works are *They Might Be Giants* (1971), an unusual dramatic comedy featuring George C.
