Buster Keaton
Joseph Frank "Buster" Keaton (1895-1966) was an iconic American actor, director, and screenwriter, one of the most influential figures of the silent film era. Known as "The Great Stone Face" for his imperturbable expression, his style was characterized by brilliant physical comedy, breathtaking acrobatics, and complex visual humor.
Among his masterpieces are "The General," "Sherlock Jr.," and "Steamboat Bill, Jr." In his typical roles, he often portrayed naively determined characters who faced absurd situations with unyielding logic and incredible ingenuity. Keaton is considered one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and a master of comedy.
