Angela Cartwright, a British-American actress, photographer, and author, began her career as a child actress, gaining recognition for her role as Linda Williams in the sitcom *The Danny Thomas Show* (1957-1964). Her international fame is primarily linked to her portrayal of Brigitta von Trapp in the celebrated musical film *The Sound of Music* (1965), a Best Picture Oscar winner that secured her a place in cinematic history. Subsequently, she solidified her popularity by playing Penny Robinson in the science fiction television series *Lost in Space* (1965-1968), another iconic role of her youth. Gradually moving away from acting, she has established herself as a professional photographer and author, publishing several books and managing her own art studio. For her contribution to the world of television, she, along with the other cast members, received the TV Land Award for the series *Lost in Space*.
