
Ljubov Agapova
Ljubov Borisovna Agapova is a Russian theater and film actress, born on November 30, 1956, in Volgograd. After graduating in 1978 from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), she immediately joined the company of the Moscow Art Theatre (MKhAT), where she built most of her career. On stage, she distinguished herself with her versatility, performing complex roles in classical works by authors such as Anton Chekhov and Aleksandr Ostrovsky. In parallel, she developed a significant film career, debuting in the late 1970s. Her most notable films include "Siberiade" (1979) by Andrei Konchalovsky and "Oblomov" (1980) by Nikita Mikhalkov. More recently, she has continued to work actively in television productions, demonstrating remarkable artistic longevity. For her contribution to the performing arts, in 1998 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, one of the country's highest artistic honors.
