Nicholas Hammond, an American actor and screenwriter born in 1950, began his career as a child actor, achieving international fame for his role as Friedrich von Trapp in the classic film *The Sound of Music* (1965). However, his most iconic role is that of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the television series *The Amazing Spider-Man*, which aired from 1977 to 1979. This portrayal established him as the first actor to embody the character in a live-action series, cementing his image in popular culture. Subsequently, he moved to Australia, where he continued his career not only as an actor but also as a screenwriter and director for theater and television, working on numerous local productions. Among his more recent works is his appearance in Quentin Tarantino's film *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood* (2019), in which he played director Sam Wanamaker, a testament to a versatile and long-lasting career.
