Piggy Chan Kam-Chuen

Chan Kam-Chuen (1950-1996), known professionally as Piggy, was a prolific Hong Kong actor, producer, and director. His career began in the 1970s at Shaw Brothers Studio, where he appeared in numerous martial arts films. However, he rose to prominence in the 1980s, becoming a familiar face in action and comedy cinema through his close collaboration with Sammo Hung. He was a key cast member of the "Lucky Stars" film series, such as *Winners and Sinners* and *My Lucky Stars*, and acted in classics like *Project A*. Although often relegated to comedic supporting roles, he demonstrated his dramatic versatility by earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards for his performance in the 1984 film *Hong Kong 1941*. Appearing in over one hundred films, his charismatic presence made him an iconic and beloved figure in the golden age of Hong Kong cinema.
