
Souad Amidou
Souad Amidou, born in Nanterre, is a French actress, director, and screenwriter. The daughter of actor Amidou, she made her film debut at a very young age in Claude Lelouch's celebrated film *Un uomo, una donna* (1966). Her career has spanned film, television, and theater, establishing her as a well-known figure on the French scene. In 1983, she received a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress for her performance in Francis Girod's *Le Grand Frère*. Her filmography includes collaborations with internationally renowned directors, such as Steven Spielberg in *Munich* (2005), and roles in successful films such as Albert Dupontel's *Adieu les cons* (2020). In addition to acting, she has also directed critically acclaimed short films, including *Rendez-vous*, which received several awards at film festivals, consolidating her artistic versatility.
