**Abolfazl Ahankhah** is an Iranian actor. He rose to international prominence thanks to his leading role in the 2020 film “Khorshid” (The Sun), directed by Majid Majidi. His performance in this drama, which focuses on the lives of child laborers, earned him the prestigious Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Emerging Actor at the 77th Venice Film Festival.
