**Ada May (1907-1980)** was a British actress who was mainly active during the silent film era and in the early years of sound cinema.
She is best remembered for her role in the film **Two Little Vagabonds (1928)**, a popular melodrama in which she played one of the main characters. Other notable appearances include **Houp-La! (1928)** and **The Flying Squad (1929)**, the latter a thriller.
May excelled in portraying young women, often with a touch of vulnerability or innocence, well suited to the dramas and thrillers of the era. Her film career was relatively short, but she left her mark on several important productions of her time.
