F. Murray Abraham (born October 24, 1939) is an American actor distinguished by his extensive career in theater and film.
His worldwide fame is inextricably linked to his role as Antonio Salieri in Miloš Forman's film *Amadeus* (1984), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor. Abraham is known for portraying complex characters, often enigmatic or possessing profound moral ambiguity.
