Femi Benussi

**Femi Benussi** (Rovigno, March 4, 1945) is an Italian actress who emerged in the film industry between the late 1960s and early 1970s. Becoming an iconic face of Italian genre cinema, she specialized primarily in thrillers, giallo films, and horror. With her enigmatic gaze and magnetic presence, she often portrayed complex female characters: fragile and persecuted women, but also seductive and mysterious, sometimes victims, sometimes femme fatale. Among her most memorable roles are those in cult films like *La lucertola dalla pelle di donna* (1971) by Lucio Fulci, *Il profumo della signora in nero* (1974) by Francesco Barilli, and *La farfalla insanguinata* (1971) by Duccio Tessari. Though concentrated in a single decade, her filmography made her a prominent figure beloved by the 'cinema bis' audience.
