**Gösta Ekman (1939-2017)** was a renowned Swedish actor, a prominent member of a celebrated theatrical and cinematic dynasty. His film career was marked by remarkable versatility, spanning both comedic and dramatic roles.
He is universally remembered for the iconic character of Charles-Ingvar "Sickan" Jönsson in the popular comedic film series *Jönssonligan* (The Jönsson Gang), where he excelled with his cunning and subtle humor.
Ekman also demonstrated his profound acting ability in more serious works, such as the critically acclaimed police thriller *Mannen på taket* (The Man on the Roof, 1976).
