Grace Kelly (1929-1982) was an American actress who became an icon of style and talent. After starting her career in theater and television, her film career took off with *High Noon*.
She was Alfred Hitchcock's favorite muse, who showcased her refined beauty and enigmatic demeanor. With him, she starred in thriller masterpieces such as *Dial M for Murder*, *Rear Window*, and *To Catch a Thief*. Her versatility was recognized with an Academy Award for Best Actress for the dramatic film *The Country Girl*. Among her other successful films, her last was the musical *High Society*.
