Hanne Agesen
**Hanne Agesen** (born in 1974) is a Danish actress, primarily known for her contributions to art-house cinema and the Dogme 95 movement.
Her most celebrated performance is as Liva in the 1999 film *Mifunes sidste sang* (Mifune's Last Song), directed by Søren Kragh-Jacobsen, a role which earned her a Danish Film Award. In this film, Agesen perfectly embodies the Dogme aesthetic, delivering a raw, authentic, and deeply emotional performance, typical of the vulnerable yet resilient characters she often portrays.
She also collaborated with Lars von Trier in *Idioterne* (The Idiots, 1998), albeit in a minor role, and had a significant part in Ole Christian Madsen's *En kærlighedshistorie* (Kira's Reason: A Love Story, 2001), solidifying her reputation as an actress capable of intense psychological depth. Her film career is distinguished by roles that explore human complexity with a naturalistic approach.
