Jesús Fernández is a Spanish actor known for his naturalistic style and incisive presence. Although not a professional actor, he was discovered by Pedro Almodóvar, who cast him in several of his works.

Among his most significant roles are those in films directed by Almodóvar himself: his participation in *Carne trémula* (1997) marked his debut, followed by memorable appearances in *Volver* (2006) and, notably, the intense character of Marisa in *La Piel que Habito* (2011). He also appeared in *Los Chikos del Maíz* (2014), solidifying his image.

His style is characterized by a raw authenticity. He has become a recognizable face for characters often on the margins of society, proletarian figures or those with a difficult past, endowing them with dignity and realism through his essential and powerful acting.
