**Josh Albee** (born in 1961) is an American actor, primarily active as a child actor between the late 1960s and the early 1970s.

He is best remembered for his film debut in **"My Side of the Mountain"** (1969), where he played Sam Gribley, a boy who learns to survive in the wilderness. His other significant roles include the television film **"The Red Pony"** (1973) alongside Henry Fonda, where he played the young Jody, and the television thriller **"Run Simon Run"** (1970).

Albee was often cast to play thoughtful, sensitive, vulnerable young characters or those grappling with difficult situations, showing remarkable acting maturity for his age. His film career was relatively brief, fading away in early adulthood.
