
Jüri Järvet
Jüri Järvet (1919-1995) was an Estonian actor, internationally recognized for his significant film career in the Soviet Union.
He achieved global fame with two iconic roles: a powerful and tragic portrayal of the protagonist in Grigori Kozintsev's *King Lear* (1971), and the enigmatic Doctor Snaut in Andrei Tarkovsky's sci-fi masterpiece *Solaris* (1972).
