Katherine Borowitz is an American actress known primarily for her independent film career and frequent collaborations with her husband, director and actor John Turturro.

She has starred in many of his films, starting with Turturro's acclaimed directorial debut, *Mac* (1992), where she played Mac's wife. Other significant collaborations include *Illuminata* (1998) and *Romance & Cigarettes* (2005), films in which she often portrays complex and profound female characters. Outside her partnership with Turturro, she had a role in Robert Redford's *Quiz Show* (1994).

Her acting style is distinguished by its intensity and ability to bring to life figures who are often melancholic, reserved, or possess a strong personality, always with a subtle vulnerability.
