Liam Neeson (Ballymena, 1952) is a Northern Irish actor universally recognized for his versatility and commanding screen presence.

His film career took a monumental turn with his portrayal of Oskar Schindler in Steven Spielberg's *Schindler's List* (1993), a role that earned him an Academy Award nomination and cemented his status as a prominent dramatic actor. He subsequently excelled in complex historical roles such as *Michael Collins* (1996) and the controversial Alfred Kinsey in *Kinsey* (2004).
