**Maly Delschaft** (1894-1995) was a German actress, a prominent figure in silent cinema, particularly within the Expressionist movement. After consolidating her theatrical career, she established herself on the big screen starting from the mid-1910s.

She is primarily remembered for her roles in iconic films of the 1920s. She played the protagonist in Robert Wiene's controversial *Genuine* (1920) and Miriam in Paul Wegener's *The Golem: How He Came into the World* (1920), one of the masterpieces of German Expressionism.

Delschaft was known for her ability to embody intense, mysterious, and often tragic female characters, perfectly adapting to the dark and stylized atmospheres of the era. Her austere expression and measured acting made her an iconic face of German silent cinema. Her film career extended into the 1930s.
